Carrier Guns

Modeled, textured, animated and lit the carrier guns and composited using render layers over a live action shot on the USS Yorktown.

Marine NCO Sword

Modeled, textured, animated, and lit the sword and composited using render layers with the emphasis on reflectivity. Still photograph taken by myself used as the background.

B-17 In flight

Modeled, textured, animated, and lit this airplane entirely in Maya. Emphasis for this project was model building and texturing.

B-17s Over the Field

Modeled, textured, animated, and lit these airplanes in maya. Used an HDR from a chrome ball photographed on location for the main soruce of lighting. HDR lighting was the emphasis for this project.

World War 2 Bomber Briefing Room

Environment with maya software renderer. The large map on the wall was built in photoshop and the chalkboard was built in illustrator. One photograph on the large map and the image on the projector screen was found online.

Krom's Battle Scarred Head

Head model was provided to students from an unknown source. Some modeling alterations were made Texturing was the emphasis on this and a first attempt at using the Maya Hair/Fur system.

Rotting Peach - Renderman

Modeled in Maya, rendered in Renderman with a shader that would change the colors of peach, alter its size, and create a growing hole where the fruit was rotting.. The peach used both file and procedural shaders.

Train in the Snow - Matte Painting

Used two photographs that I took to create the scene. The sky was an image shot when Hurricane Ernesto passed near Savannah. Luma key was used within photoshop to replace the sky.

Baseball

The background image of the gnome was photographed by Michael Tanzillo. The baseball was modeled, textured, animated and lit by myself and composted over Michael’s image using render layers emphasizing shadow and light interaction.

Flight Lessons - The Captain

This was Neil Helm's animation project. I did lighting only. Emphasis was to work on an all CG environment with stylized animation. Project is currently still under development.
